I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your team for making my Dads surgery such a great experience.

From start to finish you all have been amazing. The communication was superb. The preop seminar was very informative and helped put my Dads mind at rest.

In the week of the surgery, the nurse called to guide my Dad regarding his medication which was needed.

The morning of the surgery while my Dad was being prepped, the entire team who were to be present in theatre with him, came to introduce themselves to us. Each member explained their role, which put our mind at rest and gave us the confidence thst my Dad was in good hands. Then there was the liaison officer at the hospital who took our number and kept us informed every step of the way. We were informed by text when my Dad was in the theatre, then in recovery and even when he was ready for us to visit.

However, the most outstanding part is when we received a call from you Dr Werntz, while in Theatre, informing us that the surgery was a success and you were just putting on the dressings and that we could see my Dad shortly after.

Talk about outstanding communication at its best. That gesture amazed me for days.

In addition you came to visit my Dad in his room the very same afternoon and cheered him on to walk. I never saw my Dad so happy to feel his right leg and wiggle his toes and be able to walk again. That gave my Dad the motivation he needed.

The follow appointment was done in a timely manner, two weeks post surgery.

Much needed advice was given regarding dressing the wound. Erika and Bobby were instrumental in this.

My Dad has been motivated since and has been doing great with his Therapy as well. The script that you sent for the Therapist to understand was key.

In conclusion, your service is what I would call gold standard and you are providing clinical excellence at its best. Thank you for making my Dads surgery such a pleasant experience for us all including the family.

I was visiting from England for a month to support my Dad and Mum through this time. I also work in the health profession as an Occupational Therapist in London, UK. However, I have never experienced such an impeccable service, dedicated team and outstanding communication. I have returned to the UK knowing that my Dad is in great hands. Once again a 'Big Thank you' from the Bux Family.

I can’t not say enough great things about Dr. Werntz and his medical team. Today I had a total hip replacement and walked just a few hours after waking up! From giving my daughter a little dog stuffed animal, the extra blankets, constant check in and thoroughly explaining the procedure. He calmed all my nerves as soon as we talked. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr.Werntz for any orthopedic care.

Words are not enough to thank Dr Werntz for really giving me my life back after being a victim as a pedestrian in a horrible car crash. He is an amazing surgeon who is a perfectionist and on top of it all a wonderful human being. He took his precious time a number of times to work with my insurance company and prevailed each time. He truly went above and beyond, and I feel very blessed that he gave me my life back re my mobility! Highly recommended!

A terrific orthopedic doctor and great bedside manner. I had emergency surgery after fracturing my femur and all I can say I was blessed to have Dr Wentz assigned to me.

After a bad experience with Holy Cross Hospital Orthopedics regarding Hip Replacement Surgery, what a refreshing experience to meet and work with Dr. Ryan Werntz. From my first appointment, Dr. Werntz showed true concern for my condition and a sense of urgency to find relief. I found the entire process to be driven by patience and caring, as I prepared for my Hip Replacement Surgery. Throughout the process, I was informed and aware of the surgery details, including what I needed post-surgery to be successful. I was most amazed that Dr. Werntz called my spouse to give him an update on my condition while I was in recovery, along with his personal attention to call me after surgery and check on my condition. I know a doctor can only be as successful as his team, and the team at Dr. Werntz's office is top-notch. I highly recommend this doctor for your orthopaedic needs. I hope that if I ever need it again, he is available!

I recently fell while crossing Avenue of the Arts in Fort Lauderdale. I required a total hip replacement, which was performed by Dr. Werntz. He did a terrific job and I'm a 79 year old male, was able, without pain, to start walking with a walker the morning after surgery. Today 3 months after surgery I am walking without pain and without a walker or a cane.

I recently experienced an unusual medical situation worth noting. I had a hip replacement procedure and 3 weeks into my rehab, hurricane Milton caused us to evacuate the Sarasota area to Ft Lauderdale. Unfortunately, because the hotel room and bed were unfamiliar to me, I rolled off the bed and fell directly on my new hip replacement and fractured my leg (femur) in 2 places. I was rushed to the hospital and stabilized and told I needed surgery to repair the break. Naturally, I wanted to go back to Sarasota to have the same surgeon that replaced my hip, operate on my leg. This is when I was introduced to Dr, Werntz. He explained that he completely understood my desire to go back home but recommended against it because delay would not be good for me. He then proceeded to call my doctor at home and conducted multiple conversation and exchanged x-rays, ideas, strategies, etc . In the end, both doctors agreed to the operation with Dr. Werntz. I feel Dr, Werntz did the correct thing medically but just as important, made me comfortable with the decision. The operation was a huge success and when I returned home, my home doctor agreed after reviewing the new x-rays that the operation by Dr, Werntz was excellent and that I was extremely lucky to have a surgeon of his caliber available. Since I have been home, Dr Werntz has followed up several time to check on my progress. He has gone above and beyond what I have experienced with previous doctors. I cannot recommend Dr, Werntz highly enough.

What stood out the most to me was the entire office's genuine concern for me from the first phone call to the day of my appointment. I was treated as a person. Office staff made eye contact and were patient with me. Once I met Dr. Werntz, I understood why. His manner, demeanor, and respect for my time and questions were impressive. I found Dr. Werntz after visiting another doctor for my hip surgery and what a difference. So glad, I took the time to find the right doctor. My appointment was not moved many times and when I arrived, I did not have to wait over an hour just to get 5 minutes with the doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Werntz who delivered an above-expectation session. I feel confident that he will perform my surgery with excellent results! Thank you to his entire team!
